This webinar will take participants on an exploration of essential literacy strategies and resources to support the emergent Literacy learner.

It will offer highly practical pedagogical ideas for supporting the inclusion of the Science of Reading across a connected curriculum.

This webinar will be accompanied by resources to support the suggested approach.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will explore the knowledge and skills that children need to acquire across the three strands of the PLC.

Participants will engage with planning for Literacy learning that employs a model that builds Literacy across the Primary subject areas.

Bio

Catherine Gilliland is an experienced Literacy specialist with numerous publications. Her work has taken her across Europe and was a speaker at The World Literacy Summit in 2020. Her talent for storytelling makes her webinars engaging and very popular with teachers.
