Participants of this webinar will be introduced to the fantastic teaching resource, "Mathigon".

Facilitator, Rory Grant will highlight how this resource is ideal in meeting the aims and objectives of the New Primary Maths Curriculum whilst also showing how user-friendly this platform is. During the course of a busy and interactive hour, Rory will highlight how all strands in the curriculum can be taught through Mathigon and also how to plan and develop lessons for your class level, focusing exclusively on meeting the needs of stage 1 and 2 learners.

This course is ideal for any class teacher looking to adapt to the demands of the new curriculum, SET teachers, and will also be of interest to maths subject leaders in individual schools.

Rory Grant is a Primary School Teacher with 15 years teaching experience. He is a member of the Oide Droichead Primary Induction team and has also delivered webinars on the theme of “Developing Maths Eyes” in the primary classroom.
