The aim of the Paediatric Assessment course is to understand the fundamental differences between an adult and young child in first aid.

We will look at the paediatric assessment triangle as a tool to aid in the assessment of a young child and look at examples of where the assessment triangle can be used.

At the end of the course, you will know how to assess a young child, use the paediatric assessment triangle, and know when to escalate the condition to a higher clinical level from the examples given.
