Simple AI tools to enhance teaching, learning and assessment

Participants will learn how to use Quizizz, Notebook LM, Brisk, Gamma and Canva within their classroom.

Learning Outcomes:

• Teachers will explore AI-powered resources to generate engaging activities, and design assessments quickly.
• Teachers will discover AI tools for interactive learning, such as tools for generating quizzes, creating teaching resources and creating personalised learning experiences.

Facilitator: Patrick Hickey is a primary school teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. He has a huge passion for using technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment. He is also very passionate about using I.C.T to ensure that children with additional challenges achieve their full potential. He is also very interested in greater diversity amongst the teaching profession and is currently completing a PhD on the experiences of teachers with physical disabilities.
