Integrating STEM across the Primary Curriculum

Participants will learn how to use a range of ICT tools to enhance opportunities to develop STEM skills and in particular Mathematic skills in their students. They will co-create STEM lessons that integrate across the primary curriculum with a strong focus on Mathematics and build up a bank of STEM resources. Engagement in this course will assist teachers to promote inclusive and differentiated approaches and effective teaching methodologies by exposing them to a range of teaching methodologies such as lecturing, demonstration, discussion, questioning, reading, group work, peer teaching, project work, reflection and encouraging the use of multiple methodologies to suit all learner types.
- All courses qualify for EPV days providing participating teachers meet DES attendance criteria.
