The PEACE IV Youth Resilience and Anti-Bullying Project
is delighted to provide a one day training course for 22 Teachers in the Decider Skills CBT Mental Health Life Training in County Monaghan in conjunction with ANÚ Community Healthcare Ireland Ltd and facilitated by Gina and Margaret who are the sole authorised trainers for The Decider in Ireland.
One of the greatest challenges is teaching children and adults the skills to understand and manage their own emotions and mental health. The Decider skills address this need. The Decider Life Skills Trainer Manual and workshop are for teachers, youth leaders, GPs, school nurses, health visitors, social workers, HR personnel, occupation health professionals, general nurses (adult and children), parents and carers.
The Decider will offer you CBT mental health skills that are effective, fun, memorable and easy to use.
The Decider Skills are Different:
· Developed with service users
· evidenced based mental health skills
· Memorable and easy to use
· Creative, fun, interactive
· Affordable training for everyone
The 12 skills are taught in a one day workshop which will be held in Monaghan Education Centre on 11th March 9.30am – 4.00pm. Lunch will be provided on the day and a manual will be provided for each participant.
Spaces are limited and will be on a first come first served basis. Please register at https://metc-courses.com/post-primary-courses.html to book your place for this training.
