This will be a 1-hour webinar for those who would like guidance on optimising their experience and making the most of their application forms when applying for a middle or senior leadership position in Primary or Post-Primary schools.

The objectives are to enable participants to identify:

• their leadership knowledge, skills and aptitudes developed to date

• how to align these with the LAOS Domains of Leadership and Management

• how to use that awareness to prepare an application for a position of middle or senior leadership

Denise Kelly retired from her position as Director of Schools in an ETB in February 2019. She is a qualified Executive Coach, and member of the Association for Coaching, Ireland who works with principals and leadership teams through the CSL programme. She also works privately with clients who are preparing for competency interviews. She works with schools and Third Level institutions on a diverse range of projects and for NCCA, facilitating consultation on curriculum and assessment development. Denise has been a principal and deputy principal in Spain and in Ireland. She has worked in the Community and Comprehensive Schools, Private Schools and ETB sectors as a teacher, DP and principal. She worked for the NCCA for five years and in the early days of her career was the National Coordinator for Transition Year.
