PDST are offering RSE full-day seminars this term. The focus of the event will be primarily on teaching the sensitive elements of of RSE from Infants to Sixth class, in the context of Social, Personal & Health Education. The course will be experiential and practical in its approach.
The seminar will include:
• An overview of RSE as a core component of SP
• The role and function of an RSE policy
• Methodologies for teaching RSE
• Creating a safe classroom environment
Participants are asked to bring along their own copies of the four RSE books entitled “Resource Materials for Relationships &
this seminar. The Department of Education and Skills will provide substitute cover where required. The groups will be limited to
24 participants and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
