The Foundations of Learning for Autistic children. A practical approach to skill building through Intensive Interaction techniques. (Teachers & SNAs)
Intensive Interaction creates a predictable and trustworthy learning environment where skill building, and deep learning can take place. This webinar will raise awareness of Intensive Interaction techniques. It is a researched developmental approach which teaches us how to modify our behaviour, to effectively communicate and interact with children who are at the early stages of social development. Learning outcomes: To prioritise an environment where our learners feel safe and connected with us, in our school settings. To know about the fundamentals of communication within a nurturing, neurodiversity affirming classroom environment. To raise awareness of the Intensive Interaction programme and show where to find information and access training. To offer practical tips and resources that can be implemented in the classroom.
