This workshop is aimed at fostering a collaborative environment for teachers to discuss challenges and successes in both SET and mainstream classrooms. This community of practice will provide teachers with an opportunity to exchange resources, share insights, and collaborate with peers. The workshop will focus on topics identified by attendees, with a particular emphasis on enhancing teacher practice in special education. The second session will focus on understanding what is meant by neurodiversity and the use of language when talking about additional needs such as autism. We will also discuss some strategies to use to support children with additional needs and highlight where you can find further information. The main goal of this community of practice is to facilitate a space for teachers to come together to discuss their practice.
